To provide essential academic utility functions, the Application may request the following Android device permissions:

• Internet Access (INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used exclusively to retrieve up-to-date academic resources, syllabus materials, announcements, and notice updates.
• Storage Access (Read/Write External Storage): Used solely to allow you to download, save, and view academic documents, syllabus PDFs, and lecture notes on your device.
• Notifications (Optional): Used to deliver timely alerts regarding exam schedules, academic notifications, or app updates. You can enable or disable notifications at any time via your device settings.

We do not request access to sensitive hardware such as your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or device ID.

4. Third-Party Services & Tracking

IIT PG HUB is 100% ad-free, tracking-free, and privacy-respecting.

• We do NOT use third-party advertising networks or SDKs.
• We do NOT track your browsing habits, location, or user behavior.
• We do NOT sell, trade, rent, or share any user data with third parties or data brokers.
• No analytics or user profiling services are integrated into the application.

5. Data Security

Since no personal data is collected or stored on remote servers, your privacy is protected by design. Any data stored locally on your device (such as saved bookmarks or downloaded study materials) is safeguarded by Android's application sandboxing security mechanisms.

6. Children's Privacy

The Application is an educational tool intended for postgraduate students, researchers, and academic scholars. It does not contain inappropriate content and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.
